Prior to administering the injections, you and the doctor will discuss if a local anesthetic will be used to numb the treatment area. Juvéderm™ is injected along the area that is to be filled in, while the hyaluronic acid molecules that make up the most important part of the filler naturally draw in water and cause the tissue beneath the lines to swell. This immediately fills out wrinkles to give the skin a smoother surface. How long does it take? The entire Juvéderm™ procedure takes approximately 20 minutes. When will I see the results?
