Medical microdermabrasion is a skin care treatment that uses corundum crystals and sodium
bicarbonate to lightly bombard the skin and exfoliate away the dull layer of the stratum corneum of
your skin. A slight vacuum is also present to remove the exfoliated cells and corundum from your
skin surface. The results are diminished fine lines and wrinkles with general skin tone improvement,
reduced hyper-pigmentation and sun damage and more smooth, refreshed buffed skin. Treatment
time is about 45 minutes and a series of 6 treatments is recommended every 1 to 2 weeks.
The treatment includes an enzyme peel prior to microdermabrasion to help exfoliate dead surface
